Made from 10mm (0.4ins) high-density foam padding and non PVC backed water resistant rip-stop material, the Urban Large "Fuse-on" bag can be attached to the base area of the Urban Guitar bag, or to the front of the larger Urban Brass & Woodwind bags.

This bag is ideal for brass & woodwind musicians who need extra space to carry mutes, as the padding helps keep everything well protected. The same applies to guitarists who need additional space to carry leads, microphones or foot pedals to a gig. In addition, the Large "Fuse-on" bags have a rear concealed zipped compartment with a removable padded sleeve, which holds a 15" laptop. The bag is also large enough to carry spare clothing to a gig.

Should have bought it ten years ago

I doubted a lot between urban and premium trombone bag. Quite a waste of time because I really love the fusion urban trombone gig bag and it was cheaper.
When it arrived I was a bit disappointed that the bags are made in china. Also I'm not a fan of the material from the space where the backpack straps go into when you don't use them. The material on the bottom of the fuse-on bag is also a bit strange. The inner materials for the bell and slide compartment are very nice and soft. In general I would like to see more natural fabric. But i understand that's difficult to arrange since it's a bag that needs to be endurable.

The quality of the bag seems to be very good so far. I was a bit worried for the zipper from the main compartment. In the beginning it sometime only closed with a bit of effort. But that was my own stupidity. The only thing you need to do is keep the bag good together when you close it, then the zipper will run smoothly. All the other zippers also run very smooth.

I couldn't see very well on the website if the sliding pouch also was open on the long side, it was and that makes it more easy to clean.

I love how I can carry all my stuff in the bag + fuse-on bag. I bought a hercules in bell trombone stand which just fits. I also cary my stand realbook, mouthpieces, sliding oil, reading lamp and music stand. Although I would like to see more space in the smaller compartments of the bag. For example when I have put my music stand and real book in one compartment it practically also takes up the space of the next compartment.
In the fuse-on bag there is room for my mutes, although the space was much less then expected. My lineup -> cup mute, straight mute, plunger and bucket mute (https://soulomute.com/product/tenor-trombone-bucket-mute/).
the cup from my cup mute fits into the bucket mute which keeps it into shape.

It makes cycling with the trombone so much easier, it fits really nice and good for long distances without pain in my shoulders.

Excellent!

Such a useful piece of kit that goes perfectly with my Urban Electric guitar gig bag! This makes gigs a lot easier with its large pockets, I can easily fit pedals, cables and much more in there. The added laptop sleeve also makes this perfect for any occasion whether it's on my gig bag or on its own. When the rucksack is full it doesn't make the gig bag too bulky either meaning that it can still fit in the overhead storage on a train which is very nice!

A worthy bag

The first I took one of these rucksacks when I went food shopping. The laptop sleeve would have given good heat insulation between my back and a six-pinter of pasteurised milk, had I not chosen to leave the sleeve at home; I settled for long-life instead. The chest and waist straps held the rucksack steady and helped spread the the weight away from my shoulders.

The shoulder straps are set wide enough for my boom mic stand fit in the laptop pocket. My laptop wouldn't fit in at the same time, but that doesn't matter. I don't take my laptop outside the house, and I don't have a laptop.

This rucksack is big enough and sturdy enough for my shopping trips. One day I might even take it strapped to my bass bag along with my other Fuse-on.

Orders with a UK delivery address that are placed between Monday to Thursday before 12noon will be delivered next day, with the exception of Northern Ireland, non-mainland addresses and addresses classed as "outer areas" by our couriers, such as Aberdeen and the Highlands of Scotland. It will take between 3-5 days (not including weekends) for a parcel to be delivered to these areas.

Orders with a UK delivery address placed on a Thursday after 12noon to Monday before 12noon will be delivered on a Tuesday.
