Music Fund is a non-profit organisation which has been collecting musical instruments and organising training on instrument repair in developing countries and conflict areas since 2005.

The first collection of instruments took place in 2005, one year after the creation of Music Fund, and more than 500 instruments of all kinds were collected. Several months later the first shipment was organised and the instruments were transported to Palestine and Israel. This operation was a huge success, following which it was decided to do it again, this time to Congo (Kinshasa) and Mozambique (Maputo).

Some training is provided locally within the partner schools, through training sessions or workshops. Some students obtain a grant and are then sent for a lengthy period in a specialised school, where they follow an internship in the workshops of experts affiliated with Music Fund in Europe. Music Fund believe in bringing communities together through love of Music.

Did you know... Trafficking human beings into slavery has now become the worlds second most profitable crime! In 2012 Traffickers worldwide made $22,000,000,000 and currently there is an estimated 27,000,000 people being held as slaves all over the world.

An estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked each year into slavery. This could happen through them being sold by their family due to poverty, kidnapped or, in the case of some young teenage women, tricked into leaving their country thinking they are headed for a better life. Unfortunately what awaits them is a life of isolation, service, misery and fear.

This happens on our doorsteps... right here in the UK!

Love is the Answer is located in the suburb of Budapest but their activities reach the whole of Hungary and neighbouring Romania as well. They care for the poor, homeless and the elderly by distributing humanitarian aid to them, ensuring that donated goods get to their given destinations. The Associationʼs drug prevention program includes participating in youth festivals. They organise summer camps for the less fortunate children with the goal of contributing to the childrenʼs development through English teaching, arts and crafts activities and other creative programs. In Transylvania, they have held orphan camps since 2007. In Hungary they host Integrated Camps for the physically handicapped young people, alongside with underprivileged Roma children.
