Have been using an F9 bag for 10 years that has been subject to constant abuse through more than a thousand gig. Still holding together but is "beginning" to show some signs of wear. Still 100% functional. Just bought replacement so that I have it when needed. May be another 10 years but this is the only gig bag that I will use for my Hammond SK2.
I have had this gig bag since 2011, when I bought it based on a recommendation from someone on a popular piano forum. I have been through multiple keyboards and multiple bands, but this gig bag refuses to die. I have dragged it across gravelly streets, dirt paths, through mud, up and down stairs—in short, I abused it. In the last couple years, I have also definitely been using it for far more than it was manufactured for: it currently transports 2 (!!!) narrow midi keyboards, an X-stand with parts for a second tier, a boss loop pedal, a MacBook, a laptop stand that attaches to the x-stand, and a power strip—basically, my entire live rig is inside this bag. Through all of this abuse, not a single zipper has come loose, not a single grab handle has torn, and both wheels still roll. Sure, it has scuff marks and scratches all over, but it still protects my gear exceptionally well, and makes moving to and from gigs a breeze with all of its common sense features, most of which other manufacturers are barely catching on to recently. In short, this is the last keyboard gig bag I’ll ever buy...until I upgrade to an 88 key stage piano, then I won’t even consider another brand. Before buying this bag 8 years ago, I tried many others. You get what you pay for, and this one is worth every penny, and then some!
I'm using this for a small cimbalom - which is heavy and awkward - but the case fits it well, the wheels are life-changing and it's beautifully made. Also appreciate the generous pocket space for accessories. Order and delivery was excellent and staff extremely helpful.
Just what i wanted, great quality and lightweight
